Please check it out when you get a chance.

Also, checkout some new songs I've put on the website. Two are co-written/co-produced with Gary Maltman, "Beneath the Just Kiss Me Moon" and "My Soul was Changed Forever". "Let Me Cry" was produced with Gary Morris and it was a dream to work with him. Thanks to both of them for letting me be involved in these projects.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. These past few months in Nashville have been absolutely insane but in the most positive way possible.

I recently took a trip down to Monteagle, TN, an hour southeast from Nashville, to go to The Smoking Hit Songwriters seminar.  Hit songwriters Dave Gibson, Ira Dean, and Chris Wallen taught the seminars and I learned so much. I met many other songwriters who attended and learned very much from them as well. The first night was “open mic night” and I signed up early enough and got to perform my new original song "Holy To The Earth". All songs performed at open mic were judged by the hosting songwriters, and they liked my song! The seminar lasted all weekend with a lot of information on songwriting skills and the music business. It was an experience I will never forget. See some pics below!

I also got to perform at Linda Davis's “On the Rise Music Showcase” at James Gang Company located in White Creek, Tennessee. Linda won a Grammy award with Rebe McEntire for the song "Does He Love You".  She is also the mother of Hilary Scott from Lady Antebellum. I’ve been lucky enough to have Linda work with me the past couple of months and truly treasure my time with her. At the showcase I got to perform three songs, one of them acoustic, where I accompanied myself on acoustic guitar.  I absolutely loved performing at this great venue. It was so gorgeous!

I have been doing many gigs with my Vocal Edge group at Trevecca and have been singing the National Anthem at many Trevecca sporting events. It’s so much fun!

Another great thing that happened was I got to meet Trace Adkins at a TJ Martel Benefit concert in Nashville (I got a picture with Trace!!, see below). He was very nice!! A big THANKYOU to Bob & Laura Heatherly for inviting me to this event.

Everyone have a wonderful holiday!!

Check frequently for more updates!!

Love Mary!

Thanks for all the photos and updates for how life has been treating you. It seems like so long since we met you in Legends back in 2009, but look how far you've come. Hope to see you again soon. Have fun, study hard (not just at school but with life's experiences). God bless.

Hey everyone!

I just moved to Nashville, Tennessee and am going to college at Trevecca Nazarene University to pursue my Music career. I'm living in a dorm with my room-mate Laura and my suite-mates Ali and Rachel. They are always there for me if I get stressed out or frustrated.  We are like sisters! I am really loving Trevecca and all it has to offer. I have met so many interesting people who have helped me get through the transition to college life and who are already my best friends.

My classes are going great. I’m taking a music class called Vocal Edge where all we sing is Jazz and Pop music. It’s amazing!! I have been writing a lot lately about my journey in Nashville as well as co-writing with others.

I got  to meet two new girls outside of my school who are also aspiring musicians, Cali Rodi and Ashlyn Grace! They are such sweethearts and I enjoyed writing with them a lot. There are so many new things to learn and so much to do but it's a blast. I always have something new to look forward to everyday. Meeting so many people, who want to do just what I want to do, is very inspiring, and hearing music everywhere I go is just awesome! Trevecca gives students the opportunities to sing The National Anthem at sporting events. I am singing in five of them and am so honored. I cannot wait to continue this journey through college and see where my Music career takes me!

Trevecca also has service project opportunities so our Leap group, which is a class I’m taking about leadership, did service projects for the community. It was so fun to help out!

Talk more soon! Take Care!
